Inspira Health Appoints New Members to Its Hospital and Foundation Boards of Trustees

Mullica Hill, NJ (April 29, 2024)Inspira Health today announced new leadership and appointments to its Hospital and Foundation Boards of Trustees.

Monroeville resident Dawn Flitcraft was appointed Chair of the Inspira Health Hospital Board, which guides the activities of Inspira’s four hospitals. Flitcraft currently serves as Vice Chair on the Inspira Health Network Board and will continue in those dual roles. Professionally, Flitcraft is currently the president of FLS Advisory & Consulting, as well as COO and managing partner for The Bracken Group since 2022. Prior to that, she served as president of the Ethical Revision Division of WCG, a Princeton-based company that provides comprehensive services for clinical trial stakeholders.

“As a proud member of the South Jersey community, I consider it a tremendous honor and privilege to collaborate with Inspira Health in delivering exceptional, safe and compassionate care to our community,” said Flitcraft. “As I assume the position of Chair of the Inspira Health Hospital Board of Trustees, while maintaining my involvement on the Network Board of Trustees, I am looking forward to driving further advancements in fulfilling the organization's mission.”

Flitcraft’s appointment follows the term of James Bonner, D.O. Dr. Bonner is the Medical Director of Emergency Medicine for Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill.

“We are grateful for Dr. Bonner’s vast contributions, clinical excellence and mentorship over the years to improve the lives of individuals and families within our community through his work on our Hospital Board,” said Amy Mansue, President and CEO, Inspira Health. “Dr. Bonner’s exemplary leadership was invaluable as we navigated the pandemic and integrated our Mannington Hospital into the network, and we will continue to benefit from his expertise as a physician leader at Inspira.

Inspira Health Network Board Trustee, Jeffrey George, CIMA, C(k)P, CPFA, has been appointed to additionally serve on the Hospital Board; assuming those two roles. Mr. George, a Mullica Hill resident, is a senior partner and wealth management advisor in the Beckett George Wealth Management Group at Merrill Lynch. A Veteran, having served as Company Commander in the 101st division during Operation Iraqi Freedom, his unit comprised of over 100 medics, doctors, and various specialties providing medical support to 4,000 US and coalition forces. He also held positions in the 101st Airborne Division Staff and was a Blackhawk pilot in South Korea. In 2017, he earned the City of Philadelphia Veteran of Influence award.

The Inspira Health Foundation Board of Trustees extended Gary Galloway’s appointment as Chairman an additional year and appointed Kevin R. Gibala as its new Vice Chair and Elliot Hernandez as a new trustee.

Vineland resident, Gary Galloway is the current board chair of Inspira Health Foundation’s Board of Trustees and member of the Inspira LIFE Board, the health system's program of all-inclusive care for the elderly. He previously served as chair of the Inspira Health Hospital Board from 2014 to 2020. Now retired, Gary was owner of Rental Country, a construction equipment company based in Vineland, for more than 40 years.

Stow Creek Township, Cumberland County resident and new Vice Chair, Kevin Gibala, has served on the Inspira Foundation Board of Trustees since 2019, where he has brought a unique set of skills and passion to help fulfill Inspira’s mission. Gibala is the senior regional vice president for TD Bank, where he has worked for the past decade. Gibala has also served on many community boards and committees throughout the South Jersey region, including Habitat for Humanity of Salem County, Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce, Vineland Chamber Hispanic Business Alliance Group, Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce, Walter Rand Institute, and the Cumberland County Planning Board.

Elliot Hernandez, from Pilesgrove, NJ, is the COO of Compliance and Programming for the PRAC of Southern NJ, where he assists in the growth and development of Hispanic communities in Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties. A longstanding advocate for Salem County, Hernandez previously served as chief of detectives for the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office. He continues to volunteer with various community organizations, earning him recognition by various groups and agencies throughout Salem County.
